A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has exceeded over one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the news eua outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Full details about the campaign can be found here: Italy’s Drug Prevention Campaign Surpasses One Million Booklets Distributed in One Month.
